Shopping lists inside the app and the public calculators show buttons that open a retailer's search for the exact item the guide calls for: Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon.

Every one of those buttons carries the notice above next to it. Links open in your browser, outside the app.

How we pick what is on the list.

Materials and quantities come from the guide for your task and the size of your room. They are the same whether or not a retailer pays us.

We do not sell placement on a list, and no retailer or manufacturer reviews our guides before you see them.

Prices, availability, delivery and returns are the retailer's. Check the product page and the manufacturer's instructions before you buy.

Contractors.

A job request goes to one contractor at a time. Contractors pay us for a request they accept; you never pay for a request, and we do not take a share of the work you agree on with them.
